What’s in a name?In the year 2129 when the
Aurora sets out on its mission, science has discovered a way of recycling human and animal waste into a tasteless
protein powder that can be used as a food additive. The challenge is what do I call it? I originally thought Nutriprote. However,
I googled “Nutriprote” and the name exists – for something else of course. Then I googled
RCP (for reconstituted protein) that also exists as Rich Client Platform and Revolutionary Communist Party
as well as other things. RPS (recycled protein supplement) also seems to stand for things. What company or organization is
going to be delighted by having their acronym stand for consumable recycled waste? Maybe it is referred to as something else.
After all, the people don’t want to be constantly reminded that they are eating a sewage product. RPComplete? Perhaps
sold as RP-omega? Just referred to as omega powder. I will have to do a search and replace on this one
as it is already featured in MTB.
